Chief Executive Officer of SWLA Center for Health Services (SWLA), a five-site Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In October 2020, while at SWLA Center for Health Services, JayVon was one of five global health leaders to receive the Bob and Leila Macauley International Humanitarian Spirit Award from Americares, presented by Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Chief Executive Officer of the Marin City Health and Wellness Center (MCHWC), a six-site FQHC focused on African American health equity. While at the MCHWC JayVon’s team opened Marin County’s first FQHC owned and operated freestanding, state-licensed, nationally accredited birth center led by a CPM, and a clinic-owned private high school for students with behavioral challenges struggling to navigate an unfair system. Nailah Alvarez

Nailah's passion is working with Seniors, and she has been very successful in that work as a Home Health Aid and Medical Assistant. Nailah also has a wealth of experience working with teen and TAY youth.
Director of Deaf Services
Desjunae Ross

Desjunae is a thriving and dynamic member of the deaf community! Her passion is perinatal health. She is a mother of five, a Deaf Doula, activist for birth justice, and an entrepreneur. Desjunae is also passionate about communication access.
